Milo is a 5 y/o long haired basset boy! He was returned to us because his owner could no
longer care for him. The owner had caretakers coming into the house and Milo became
very protective of her. He really didn’t have any socialization outside of the house and he
saw the caretakers as intruders. Since he was returned to his original Foster home, this
issue has been worked on and he has improved greatly. He has settled in again and is
getting along with his foster bassets. Milo was at the Waddle and he was very friendly and
Milo is 100% house trained, weighs about 45 lbs. and eats and sleeps in his crate. He
loves to watch the neighbors and their dogs from the window seat inside and his bark lets
everyone know they’ve been spotted! He also barks when he wants inside.
Milo might have those unique looks, but he’s all basset and will make a great companion.
