For The 2010 Waddle!
The 13th Annual Illinois Waddle 2010
For those of you that have attended The Waddle before, this is an exciting time. You’ll get to see old friends as well as all the Bassets,
including the ones you’ve read about. I’ll guarantee that you’ve already started thinking about how much fun you’ll have.
For those that will be here for the first time, you will be amazed! It is a truly remarkable weekend. You’ll make new friends and you’ll see
more Bassets than anywhere.
Here are the highlights –
Register at Firstgiving.com/gabr. Your family registration fee is $25
o You’ll receive an embroidered bandanna for each dog you bring (up to 4 per family)
“The Great American Basset Races”
When you set up a Firstgiving page, your Basset will be eligible to run in the Great American Basset Races. Our race track will be at the
west end of the GABR Park – 8 heat races will be held starting at 1:30 PM on Saturday. The winner from each heat will be brought back for
the finals with the winner of that race being named “The Fastest Basset”. A beautiful trophy will be presented.
All the forms that you will need are available on our Waddle web page. If there’s anything else that you need, call our office at 815-584-
1044. Pam can help you solve any problem that you might have.

drawing for a Caribbean Cruise! Once you’ve raised $100 or more,
you’ll get another entry into the drawing and for every $250 that you
raise, you’ll get another entry. Someone will win a cruise for helping
the Bassets of GABR.
In addition, we have a list of wonderful prizes as you raise more
money.
