Hello! My name is Maya and I'm 8 years old. When GABR found me, I was very sick. I had pneumonia, a
skin rash and a double ear infection. Thanks to the wonderful volunteers and a very smart vet, I'm
healthy again!
Since my recovery, I have begun dreaming of a forever home. I like meeting new people and enjoy the
company of children. I am hoping for a family with a Basset friend or two because I love to play!
I like to take lazy walks but I'm also content to curl up next to you on the couch. If you offer a treat, I will
shake paws with you. I will even do a happy dance if you scratch my back!
