Hello! I'm Jena and I am a rare lemon and white Basset. My owners could not take care of me anymore, so they gave me to GABR
to help me find my forever home. I hate to brag, but I am pretty much the perfect dog. I'm a mellow, low-riding gal who loves
everybody. I really don't need much, just a warm comfortable bed, two squares a day, and a walk or two or just a stroll in the
backyard. I'm 8 years young with a twinkle in my eye, a sweet disposition, and an ever-waggin’ tail. I get along with everyone, but I
prefer the company of older dogs and people to puppies and babies. I am not fussy about my food. I like to rest by your feet, and
don't need to get up on the furniture. (See???... Perfect!) I can go up and down the stairs with no problem, but prefer to be led
on a leash. I love to walk in the park and can go almost a mile without pooping out. With a little training I know I can build my
stamina. Slow and steady, right? Once I get to know you, I will even sing and howl with you! Once you stare into my beautiful
brown eyes you won’t be able to resist my loving gaze.
Won’t you please let me keep you company and be my best friend???
