Meet Charlie
This lovable old guy was found wandering a seldom used road in St. Charles county. No collar, no tag, and no
name. The shelter contacted GABR because at his age they knew they would not be able to adopt him out.
Before he left the shelter parking lot, he was given a name – Charles. His foster mom felt Charles is too formal so
she calls him Charlie.
Sweet Charlie is approximately 12 years old. Life probably hasn’t been easy for him. He’s a laid back hound that
likes to get along with everyone – human or canine. It’s unknown how long Charlie was living on his own.
Therefore, he’s brushing up on his house training manners. Charlie likes to hang out and just be a basset.
Everyone that meets Charlie is charmed by him.
Charlie has a wish for this Howliday season. He wishes for a home of his own.
