| Jasmine |
Jasmine is a sweet little girl with big eyes. She is allegedly 10 years old but you would never know it.
She is house trained and does extremely well with children. Jasmine does well eating but would help
another dog if she thought necessary. Soft treats are better for her or broken up bigger ones. She is
a very quiet girl and has yet to attempt the indoor stairs to the second floor. Her foster home has a
deck that has two stairs that Jasmine climbs. Her foster home has other bassets that she gets along
with except she likes to smell their mouths when they are sleeping (which can be a problem).
After a few weeks of being with her foster family, Jasmine will jump up on their laps and put her head
on their shoulder and rub her little head on theirs. Furniture or a dog bed is her sleeping preference
which she does pretty much throughout the day. Her nickname is Jasmine the Jet. She can tear
around the yard leaving the rest of the dogs standing still. All they have to do is bark and she is off!!
That’s why she’s “allegedly” 10 years old – she behaves like a much younger dog. Jasmine can be
somewhat jealous of the other dogs. She takes care of that herself by climbing over the other dogs to
get to be the center of attention (good thing she’s so small). Jasmine is a real treasure.
