| “The Great American Basset Races” |
This year’s Waddle marks the beginning of “The Great American Basset Races” – will your Basset be
the winner? If he is, there will be a beautiful trophy presented along with a pair of matching jackets for the owners.
Here are the details –
1. Your dog is eligible to enter IF you have set up a Firstgiving Page for The Waddle. Once you have
registered and set up your page, you can go to the “Enter my Basset in the Races”.
2. The races will be held at The Bash on Saturday, September 18th with the first heat being held at 1:30 PM.
3. There will be a maximum of 8 heats with 8 Bassets per heat. Only 64 Bassets will be entered in this event. The .
finals will be held as the final event of the afternoon.
4. Once we have determined how many Bassets will be running, heat participants will be randomly drawn. Once heat
assignments have been set, you will be notified by email with your “Post time”. You must be there, ready to race at
least 15 minutes prior to the event or your dog cannot race.
5. ONLY ONE BASSET ENTRY PER FAMILY!!
