Hi, we are Trucker & Allie. We have been in our foster home for a few months now. Our foster parents say we've
come a long way in the time we've been here! It took a while for us to gain weight gradually and get well again. My
sister & I would like to stay together. We sleep, play & get tummy rubs together! Although we are seniors, we both
enjoy running and playing with our foster brothers & sisters...even the 1 y/o pup! We even like cats & older
children.
Our house manners are excellent. We don't get into the garbage or counter surf like some of our basset friends
do. We are crate trained but we are very good & don't need to be crated. When I first came here I was nervous
and didn't want to come in the house. I thought my place was outside. So I take medication now and all that
anxiety has disappeared. However we both are afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks and so our foster mom gives
us special pills wrapped up in treats to help us calm down.
We like it here, but we would really like to belong to a nice family who understands that we seniors need a home
too. Thank you for your consideration.
