Allie and Trucker

Meet Trucker & Allie.  These two are both 10 yrs young.  Don't let the
number fool you, because they are very energetic, playful, and love to
be outside. They are both house trained and don't need to be crated
when you're gone. They get along with all their foster brothers &
sisters, cats & children. They have no bad habits like some other
bassets who counter surf or get into the garbage.

All they will require when they become part of your family is lots of
tummy rubs & your unconditional love

Busby has been in his foster home for a few weeks now and has proven
himself to be a wonderful house guest. He is great with all the dogs, big
and small, and the cats as well. He loves to play and run the Basset 500.

Busby is house and crate trained and is one laid-back basset. He’s only 1
y/o, loves to be loved on and adores his belly rubs. He is a unique boy who
is mahogany-colored (this is hard to see on the pics) with a small amount
of white on his chest. Everyone says he is quite handsome and we totally
agree!

All Busby wants, it seems, is to be loved. He will sit in your lap for hours
and will follow you wherever you go. He almost seemed like a lost soul at
first but as time has gone by he has turned into a fun-loving, happy, go-
lucky, bassety boy. We love him and you will too!
This great guy is Elvis. He has only been here a few days but
he has settled in quickly. Elvis is a 5 year old tricolor and is a
smaller guy at just about 50 lbs. He has a quiet and very
gentle demeanor and he gets along great with his basset
housemates. He loves people, especially children. He bonded
instantly with our 9 year old granddaughter.

Elvis likes to go for walks and he rides well in the car. He is
housebroken and doesn't need to be crated. His favorite thing
to do is cuddle up next to you on the sofa and just be a buddy.
Elvis is a beautiful, sweet little guy
Haloo!  I'm Herman!  I know what you're thinking...how did such an
amazing Basset Beauty end up here??  I am not one to dwell on the past,
but I strayed from home and broke my leg in a car accident.  The kind
folks at GABR put me back together again, and I am getting stronger
every day.  Handsome...yes.  Sweet, playful, house-broken... yes, yes,
yes.  What can I say?  I am the perfect basset!

I love to follow my foster Mom around the house and toss my toys in the
air.  I am never fussy at dinner time. I am crate trained and cry a little when
you go away, but I settle down when I remember it is only for a little while.  I
cannot go for long walks yet, but I do love to sit by the glass door to check
what's going on.  Since I have been in my new home I have met cats, and
dogs and kids and grown-ups and I love them all!  I get so excited, I can
hardly contain myself and my tail spins around like a propeller.

It won't be long until I will be well enough to go home with you, so don't
wait!  Just fill out the [
adoption application] and I may be all yours!
Hi, my name is Flash, and my foster mom says I'm one of the nicest boys
she's ever had. I'm housebroken, sleep through the night, walk well on a
leash and I listen very well. I have three doggie playmates here, and
love to run and play with them. There are also two cats.  I'm curious
about them but leave them alone. When all of us are running in the yard
barking at each other I like to howl sometimes. I don't know why, but
mom laughs at me every time I do this.

Mom takes us for a walk every day, and I love it.  Because I'm such a big
boy, my foster mom thinks it would be best to be placed with a family that
have older children.  Mom says there's just more of me to love, and
she's always telling me she loves me. She says I don't need a diet I just
need to be fed the correct amount. I've only been here for a week and
already feel slimmer and more lively. I'm just a big boy with a big heart
looking for someone to share good times, sad times and most important
cuddle time!
